Statement of Condemnation The war of Aggression Against the Sivereignty of the kingdom of Cambodia

The Confederation of Youth Workers Trade Union of Cambodia (CY-TUC) strongly condemns the inhumane and unlawful acts committed by the Thai military against Cambodia’s sovereignty since 7 December 2025. Armed attacks along the Cambodia–Thailand border have caused civilian deaths and injuries, destroyed homes, hospitals, and schools, and forced workers, children, and families to flee their homes.

These actions violate the Ceasefire Agreement and the Joint Declaration on the Peace Deal, deepening hardship for workers and their families and undermining human dignity and basic rights. CY-TUC shares the deep concerns of workers nationwide, who fear for the safety of their loved ones and face growing insecurity and instability.

We call on the international community, including the ILO and global trade unions, to firmly condemn these violations, ensure accountability under international law, and urge an immediate ceasefire. Peace is essential to protect livelihoods, family unity, and the right of all people to live and work in safety and dignity.
